POSITION SUMMARY


As a Front Desk Representative at Marriott International, you serve as one of the initial points of contact for guests, and your warm, genuine demeanor fosters a distinctive and personalized experience upon check-in.

The ideal Front Desk Representative will customize their interactions by interpreting guests' cues to ensure they feel welcomed and at ease during their stay.

The Front Desk Representative will leverage their expertise and collaborate with various hotel departments (from housekeeping to parking to concierge services) to anticipate and fulfill our guests' requirements.

Passion for the local area and its offerings is crucial, along with a keen attention to detail—ranging from the information shared with guests to the precision of reports and the security of transactions processed.


Regardless of your position, certain elements are vital for success: ensuring a safe work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional appearance, upholding confidentiality, complying with quality assurance standards, and safeguarding company assets.

The role of Front Desk Representative involves being active and mobile (standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods) and taking a hands-on approach to tasks (moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance).

Mastering these responsibilities, along with any additional tasks that arise, forms the foundation of this role.

Ultimately, the hallmark of the Front Desk Representative position is delivering an exceptional guest experience, inspiring both guests and team members to embrace the joy of discovery.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
