Lead Product Strategist

Position Overview: In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the design and introduction of Amazon's top-selling devices, while also conceptualizing new innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide the formulation of a consumer-centric product strategy and vision for next-generation devices and experiences.
  • Oversee initiatives across various phases of the product lifecycle, from ideation through to launch and retirement.
  • Establish creative, high-quality, long-term product roadmaps aligned with team strategy and vision.
  • Develop comprehensive business requirements and user narratives that inform product specifications and architecture for each product and application.
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, and operational support load.
  • Facilitate product launches in collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Go-to-Market, PR, and other Product teams.
  • Build consensus for the product/feature/service vision and strategy with technical and leadership teams.
  • Influence across a diverse range of cross-functional technical, design, and commercial teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proven experience with feature delivery and product trade-offs.
  • Experience in managing roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Demonstrated success in end-to-end product delivery.
  • Involvement in engineering discussions regarding technology decisions and strategies related to a product.
  • Experience managing technical products or online services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in technical product management, program management, or engineering.
  • Proven track record in owning feature delivery and trade-offs of a product.
  • Experience advocating for various critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Compensation: Compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on various factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Benefits: Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be included as part of a total compensation package, alongside a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
