Responsibilities

In this position, you will collaborate with software engineers and managers to define, schedule, and monitor the team's progress, as well as oversee numerous cross-functional projects. You will serve as the central point of contact, uniting teams from different departments. Your role will involve managing issues and priorities among Engineering Project Managers to facilitate data-driven decisions that affect product quality. You will be accountable for communicating and presenting briefings and updates to senior engineering leadership and executives to enable swift decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent international qualification.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Engineering Project Management.
  • Proficient in managing projects utilizing Agile software development methodologies.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences in a constructive environment.
  • Demonstrated executive presence with the capability to engage with senior leadership.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to various audiences.
  • Proven experience in delivering software projects.
  • Strong technical insight and comprehension of fundamental software engineering principles, with the ability to distill complex software application design and process challenges to their core elements.
  • Analytical problem solver, connecting their work to broader strategic objectives.
  • Self-driven and enthusiastic, showcasing creative and critical thinking abilities.
  • Experience in prioritizing features and developing technical roadmaps.
  • Capability to comprehend project financials, budgets, ROI, etc.
  • Proficient in navigating ambiguous and uncertain environments, making informed decisions on behalf of their teams, and providing direction with incomplete information or data.
  • Composed under pressure, demonstrating high resilience and a keen interest in solving complex problems in a challenging, fast-paced setting.
Compensation & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one component of our comprehensive compensation package and is determined within a specified range. This structure allows for growth as you develop within your role. The base pay range for this position is between $165,500 and $293,800, with actual base pay depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Additionally, you will receive benefits such as comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a variety of discounted products and services, and reimbursement for certain educational expenses related to career advancement at Apple. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments, as well as relocation assistance.
