Position Overview:
The Medical Technologist II plays a crucial role in the laboratory environment, focusing on rapid diagnostic testing. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities that ensure the smooth operation of laboratory processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Competent in all Level I duties:Execute specialized procedures that are specific to the laboratory's area of expertise.Provide training and mentorship to laboratory staff and other personnel.Contribute to ongoing educational initiatives within the laboratory.Monitor, guide, and validate the documentation of junior laboratory staff.Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of supervisory personnel.Assist in scheduling and drafting laboratory procedures.Engage in special projects as assigned by management.In addition to Level I duties:Possess analytical skills to gather information from various sources, apply professional principles in conducting analyses, and summarize findings to report test results, troubleshoot issues, and/or design simple systems and programs.Demonstrate organizational skills for managing supplies and inventory.Delegate assignments for proficiency testing or other laboratory needs.Exhibit analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail in mastering complex testing systems.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science with a minimum of 2 years of clinical laboratory experience OR a Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field.ORAssociate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with 3 years of relevant experience.National certification is preferred.Certification is mandatory for individuals with degrees in related sciences.Work Schedule:Monday – Friday: 7am – 5:30pm (4 – 10 hour shifts)About Us:
