Registered Nurse II - Pediatric Hemophilia Specialist

Your responsibilities will include ordering necessary laboratory tests, imaging, and prescriptions, as well as serving as a vital information resource for all parties involved in patient care. You will manage communication between healthcare providers and patients/families, ensuring seamless referrals from the hospital to the clinic.

Position Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers in delivering high-quality nursing care, including routine procedures and patient assessments.
  • Ensure efficient clinic operations through effective scheduling and resource management.
  • Provide patient education and counseling regarding pre-operative and post-operative care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling.
  • Supervise the upkeep of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Stay informed about advancements in nursing practices through ongoing education.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Current Texas Registered Nurse licensure and CPR certification are mandatory. A Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution, or an Associate's degree with relevant experience, is required.


Physical Requirements:

Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
