Job Summary
Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian II to join our team. As a Clinical Dietitian II, you will play a critical role in assessing the nutritional status of our patients and developing personalized nutrition plans to improve their health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the nutritional status of patients using recognized assessment tools and develop intervention plans tailored to their specific needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide expert-level care and nutrition therapy to patients with high acuity needs.
- Conduct routine screenings to identify patients at nutritional risk and contribute to facilitating care through interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Model and train Clinical Dietitian Is in core behaviors and responsibilities of the department and organization.
- Develop and implement business functions to manage resources in a cost-effective manner and participate in compliance and quality performance improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with the Food and Nutrition Services team to enhance patient experience.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of acute hospital experience working with patients in complex levels of care to specialized populations.
- Bachelor's Degree with completion of an accredited dietitian program.
- Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Dietitian State license in the following states: Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Tennessee, Ohio.
Compensation
$42.28/hour
