Job Title: Inside Sales Representative

A & M Industrial Inc is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our sales and support team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating new and repeat sales, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product quotations and technical information in a timely manner.
  • Determine clients' requirements and expectations to recommend specific products, services, and solutions.
  • Accurately process client transactions, including orders, quotes, and returns.
  • Increase sales and average order size through cross-selling, up-selling, and offering featured promotional sale items.
  • Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.
  • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals, and work collaboratively with other team members.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in Inside Sales or a related field, preferably with a mechanical background.
  • Excellent phone manner and superior communication skills.
  • Accurate data entry skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in a group/team setting with limited supervision.
Work Environment:

This role operates in a mixed-use office/industrial building, with the possibility of working from home. The office is a smoke-free and drug-free environment.

Physical Demands:

This role requires standing, walking, and carrying, with the ability to lift and carry boxes weighing an average of 10 lbs/box.
