Inventory Management Specialist

A&M Industrial Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the sales and support team, this individual will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Travel daily to customer locations to manage inventory levels and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Use company-provided software to generate new orders and obtain customer approval as required.
- Unpack and put away stock at customer locations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with sales representatives and supervisor to ensure full customer satisfaction.
- Perform general housekeeping for service equipment and immediate area.
- Use company smartphone app to process orders.
- Valid driver's license in good standing and a motor vehicle record acceptable to our insurance carrier.
- Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- Ability to manage time and effectiveness, meet established goals, and work effectively with other members of the team.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
- Ability to present a professional image at all times to clients and vendors.
The Inventory Management Specialist must be able to drive up to 5 hours/day and work in industrial environments. This position requires the ability to lift and carry boxes weighing an average of 50 lbs/box.
BenefitsThis is a full-time non-exempt position with a salary based on experience and certifications. The position is eligible for performance-based incentives and all other benefits available to full-time employees, including health/dental/vision/group life/long-term-disability insurance plans, 401k, paid holidays, and vacation.
