Sales Director

Cooke Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to oversee the development of sales and customer management for our Smoked Salmon division. This is a remote position, and we are looking for individuals residing in the United States or Canada central to the seafood industry.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze system data and troubleshoot day-to-day customer sales, orders, and pricing.
- Support our Managing Director with new and existing customer opportunities.
- Determine and communicate new selling options to customers.
- Analyze critical processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with customers and our internal production planning.
- Order management while assisting logistics to ensure that product arrives to customers.
- Actively hunt for new business opportunities.
- Leverage existing contacts and develop new relationships to expand market reach.
- Negotiate and close deals, aiming to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Understand and keep up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop strategies that align with consumer needs and preferences.
- Develop and expand the company's presence in national territories.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing.
- 7+ years proven experience as a Seafood Sales Representative, with specific experience selling Smoked Salmon.
- Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of hunting and securing new business.
- Ability to operate on a national scale, with multi-channel sales experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
