About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Cooke Inc. in a remote position. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales and customer management strategies, working closely with various stakeholders, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze sales data and troubleshoot customer sales, orders, and pricing
  • Support the Managing Director in identifying new and existing customer opportunities
  • Determine and communicate new selling options to customers
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and analyze critical processes
  • Liaise with customers and internal production planning
  • Manage orders and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Negotiate and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitors
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies aligned with consumer needs and preferences
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing
  • 7+ years of experience as a Seafood Sales Representative, with specific experience selling Smoked Salmon
  • Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of hunting and securing new business
  • Ability to operate on a national scale, with multi-channel sales experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
