Director of Business Development

At JBAndrews, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team. This pivotal role will focus on expanding our footprint on the West Coast, driving new business opportunities, and enhancing existing client partnerships.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth in ocean and air freight, import/export, and customs brokerage services.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor logistics solutions that meet client needs.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to provide clients with cutting-edge solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the business.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development or sales in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industries.
  • Strong knowledge of ocean freight, air freight, customs brokerage, and import/export services.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a client-centric mindset.
  • A well-established network in western states of the USA logistics and transportation sector.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth and developing long-term client partnerships.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

Location: This role is based remotely in LA, California, with flexibility for remote working.
