Director of Systems and Automation Sales

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Director of Systems and Automation Sales. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our market share in the material handling industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and propose turnkey projects for pallet racking systems, carton flow, pallet flow, pick modules, powered conveyors, and material handling equipment.
- Develop and implement process optimization improvements to reduce costs and maximize throughput.
- Design new facilities or building expansions to streamline operations, maximize productivity, and support high-volume order fulfillment.
- Oversee and coordinate sales team activities, establish sales territories, quotas, and goals, and analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement.
- Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting, report on team and individual performance, and develop and execute innovative sales strategies.
- Build and form new partnerships with potential clients, and have a strong understanding of CRM platforms.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales in warehouse systems sales management.
- Previous experience with Material Handling, industrial/manufacturing engineering, supply chain, and logistics.
- Experience building and developing sales teams, establishing budgets, implementing cost justification programs, and tracking productivity and ROI performance.
- 5 years+ of experience as a supervisor or manager, with strong leadership qualities, ability to build rapport with clients, and strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and ability to travel 50% for outside sales.
