Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and data-oriented professional to join our team as an Analytics Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving the strategic growth of our retail operations, focusing on various platforms including web and mobile applications. This position demands a proactive and analytical mindset to facilitate informed decision-making through tailored analyses that enhance customer experiences, product offerings, and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ad-hoc analyses using database queries, followed by insightful interpretation of findings and the formulation of actionable recommendations.
  • Manage specific analytical projects from inception to completion, including requirements gathering, planning, execution, and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and content teams to address business challenges and monitor performance metrics through a data-driven lens.
  • Utilize SQL, Tableau, Excel, and other reporting tools to develop and maintain both scheduled and ad-hoc reports, conducting deep dives to identify root causes of business issues.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of business drivers and metrics, proactively engaging with business leaders to provide context and support in interpreting analytical data.
  • Work with stakeholders to leverage both internal and external data sources to tackle complex business challenges and deliver actionable insights.
  • Design and execute analyses that yield insights into customer behavior and needs, contributing to the enhancement of our value proposition.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting within an e-commerce or related environment.
  • Proficient in SQL, with the ability to independently extract and manipulate data from databases.
  • Advanced experience with analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, QuickSight, or PowerBI.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies, statistical analysis, and modeling techniques.
  • Expertise in Excel with a proven track record of data manipulation and analysis.
  • A collaborative spirit, thriving in a team of highly engaged professionals.
  • A passion for data and metrics, coupled with a commitment to delivering high-quality, actionable analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage tasks and projects independently under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with both business leaders and technical teams.
  • Experience in membership, subscription-based, or media content industries is a plus.
  • Interest in cutting-edge data science techniques and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python; knowledge of Java, C#, R, or SAS is advantageous.
  • Experience working within an AWS environment is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Analytics is a plus.
