The Opportunity

The Account Executive, Prestige is a highly respected leader within the East Coast territory, consistently delivering exceptional sales performance across major retailers. This individual is not only a skilled sales professional but also a strategic business partner, fostering growth and exceeding expectations. They collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams, store management, and retail employees to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business plans, driving sales growth and exceeding financial objectives.
  • Spearhead sales goals, marketing initiatives, and merchandising strategies for the business.
  • Utilize sales data and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate and negotiate special events and in-store promotions with retailers.
  • Manage corporate budgets and adhere to company guidelines.
Education and Development
  • Schedule local training programs aligned with sales strategy and objectives, collaborating with the education team to execute training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Field Sales Team to assess customer needs and develop Beauty Advisors and Makeup Artists.
  • Monitor and promote brand image and awareness.
  • Conduct on-the-job education at the counter through face-to-face coaching.
Relationship Management
  • Develop collaborative partnerships with retailers, brand ambassadors, fragrance specialists, and corporate teams.
  • Act as a key business partner to store and corporate management teams, discussing business opportunities and sales promotions.
  • Partner with the Retail VM/Store Design Team to ensure successful in-store visual displays.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and motivation of in-store sales teams to achieve retail targets.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of account executive sales experience in beauty or fashion.
  • Previous experience in luxury markets, preferably establishing relationships with major retailers.
  • Previous experience working with fragrance and makeup.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales performance goals.
  • Leadership qualities demonstrated through leading, developing, and motivating sales specialists.
  • Successful relationship builder with high emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
