Your Daily Responsibilities:
  • Implement preventive maintenance strategies for the facility, equipment, and grounds.
  • Conduct repairs under the guidance of the Executive Director, focusing on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks in compliance with established codes.
  • Coordinate and oversee contract repairs and maintenance services.
  • Monitor building and water temperatures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Uphold community fire safety and hazardous material protocols, addressing any unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the grounds, collaborating with landscaping services as needed.
  • Supervise the Maintenance Assistant, if applicable, and ensure effective teamwork.
  • Manage waste disposal processes efficiently.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess a Vocational or Trade School degree in general maintenance or have at least three years of relevant experience in carpentry, electrical, or painting work. Familiarity with budget management is advantageous. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for business purposes are required.
