Position Overview:

We seek an individual capable of managing multimillion-dollar projects, showcasing strong leadership skills and extensive experience in commercial construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrating leadership and management capabilities across multiple project sites
  • Managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Identifying business development opportunities
  • Understanding the financial aspects of project management
  • Creating accurate monthly forecasts and work-in-progress reports
  • Handling escalated claims and managing conflicts with stakeholders
  • Ensuring that all work meets high-quality standards
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation and compliance
  • Implementing effective problem-solving strategies
  • Communicating and negotiating with trades to monitor job progress
  • Liaising between insurance providers and clients
  • Resolving disputes and issues as necessary
  • Learning and utilizing new systems such as Dash & Easy Build
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative and contractual occupational health and safety requirements
  • Overseeing inspections and ensuring all relevant documentation is signed off

Qualifications:

  • Previous management experience in the construction industry
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proven track record of driving profitable growth and strong commercial insight
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Empathy towards client needs
  • Project management skills are desirable but not mandatory

Essential Skills:

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Capability to foster business growth and client relationships
  • Experience in managing delivery processes and ensuring quality
  • Current motor vehicle license
