Position Overview:

A Construction Superintendent at Calcon Constructors, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is conducted safely and meets the expectations of both our clients and the company.

Given that a significant portion of our projects are awarded through repeat business and referrals, meticulous planning is essential, regardless of project size.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all stages of construction projects from pre-construction to final completion.
  • Track project timelines to ensure adherence to schedules and develop contingency plans as necessary.
  • Coordinate resources and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to guarantee a safe and effective project environment.
  • Maintain open communication with the Project Manager regarding project progress, challenges, and impacts.
  • Ensure site safety and compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
  • Conduct project closeout in accordance with contractual obligations and client satisfaction.
  • Anticipate potential challenges and organize the team to mitigate or resolve issues proactively.
  • Address common project challenges to foster positive business relationships and outcomes for Calcon.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a lead Superintendent role with a general contracting firm.
  • Experience in general contracting with a focus on mid to large-scale projects valued between $15 million and $30 million.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Experience in ground-up commercial construction is essential.
  • Demonstrated history of professionalism, dependability, and ethical conduct with verifiable references.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and maintaining strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and planning abilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings post-offer.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $105,000 and $140,000, based on experience.
