Key Responsibilities- Customer Satisfaction: Respond to customer purchase and service questions in a timely manner, ensuring customer expectations are met.
- Inventory Management/ROI: Maintain and develop local non-NAPA vendor relationships, source parts needs for customers, and ensure performance against service level goals.
- Utilization of available tools: Track value-added items for the customer, maintain and develop local non-NAPA vendor relationships, and ensure the site is using approved non-company line codes.
- Operational Issues: Assume responsibility for inventory protection, asset management, and operational issues, ensuring overall cleanliness of the site, stock room, and outside areas.
- Leadership and Development: Develop quality personnel, set high performance standards, and use company training resources to ensure employee recognition and development.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical school and/or college degree a plus.
- Certifications: ASE certified within twelve months.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and ability to manage two or more people, prioritize, and delegate to team members.
- Experience: Demonstrated leadership in the automotive after-market industry, preferably in an automotive parts department, dealership, jobber, heavy duty, and/or fleet establishment.
