Site Operations Manager

Job Summary:
IEM is seeking a highly skilled Site Operations Manager to support our Washington DC Migrant sheltering operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing site operations and creating a safe, healthy, and structured environment for eligible migrants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage site operations at the TAM and serve as a point of oversight for creating a safe, healthy, and structured environment for eligible migrants.
- Meet with OMS staff on a weekly basis and provide written progress reports based on metrics.
- Ensure all supporting client data is captured as directed by the District to support all cost recovery efforts and District reporting.
- Confirm that all unusual incidents are reported to Office of Migrant Services staff and Operations as specified in this agreement or as required by the District.
- Identify training needs and assist with training for staff.
- Uphold Office of Migrant Services standards of conduct, policies, and procedures at all times.
- Coordinate and conduct meetings/trainings with new staff to explain the available services, operational tempo, site partners, and performance expectations.
- Analyze and ensure facility operating plans and reports are updated daily and monthly.
Requirements:
- Bilingual English and Spanish - written and verbal.
- Two (2) years of humanitarian or migrant operations experience and progressive supervisory responsibility, including management of intake and/or shelter services.
- Two (2) years of direct management experience in temporary housing facility operations and reception services.
- Understanding that this role is not a permanent position and will last the extent of the current project or on other similar/like projects if they arise.
- This position will require work to be conducted onsite and may require work on weekends or in excess of 40 hours per week.
- Professional Registration or Certification including Project Management Professional.
- Four years of humanitarian or migrant-support related experience.
