Job Title: Site Safety Manager

The Site Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing the safety and health of facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage multiple safety programs and develop project-specific safety plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to minimize hazards
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety protocols are in place and followed
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols
  • Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 8-10 years of experience in safety and health
  • Associate's degree with 6-8 years of experience in safety and health
  • Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of experience in safety and health
  • Five years of general industry experience
  • Three years of general industry experience with Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to attain TS/SCI polygraph clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Safety Management Systems (SMS) knowledge and experience
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience with safety software and technology
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Work Environment: This role requires frequent travel to construction sites and may involve working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex safety information to employees and stakeholders.
