Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations
    • Assist the General Manager in overseeing the front and back of house operations, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food preparation.
    • Supervise subordinate supervisors and provide indirect supervision of all restaurant staff, including scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow.
  • Financial Management
    • Assist with oversight of the general upkeep and well-being of the restaurant and its patrons and staff.
    • Assist the General Manager in keeping financial records of the restaurant, including daily invoices and bank deposits.
  • Customer Service
    • Handle guest concerns, complaints, and needs according to company guidelines.
    • Ensure that all staff members provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive dining experience.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Assist the General Manager in forecasting daily and weekly sales and scheduling as needed.
    • Engage in marketing efforts to attract business to the restaurant and maintain a presence in the dining room and kitchen areas.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Assist in ordering par levels of restaurant supplies, checking in deliveries, and maintaining proper costs of items.
    • Assist in organizing and moving beverage product in the absence of or in coordination with the Beverage Manager.
Requirements
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and/or 2 to 5 years fine dining restaurant management experience.
  • Knowledge of wines and cocktail making is beneficial.
