Overview:
Ultimate Staffing is in search of a forward-thinking Director of Construction Engineering to lead an international organization committed to providing exceptional products and services. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and sustainability of engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of the company. This position demands a visionary leader with a robust technical foundation and outstanding management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage engineering initiatives from initial concept through to final execution
- Guarantee timely delivery of projects while adhering to scope and budget constraints
- Formulate project schedules, resource allocations, and financial estimates
- Evaluate pricing and validate all Engineering Change Orders
- Supervise international operations, including training, workload distribution, and accuracy of project specifications
- Assess shop drawings, manufacturing schematics, and installation plans
- Conduct quarterly operational reviews to ensure optimal asset performance
- Oversee the creation and development of pre-sales documentation
- Accountable for regular financial project assessments and Profit & Loss management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related discipline; Master's degree is preferred
- Over 10 years of experience in engineering, particularly in design and architecture, including structural and mechanical disciplines
- Comprehensive knowledge of Revit, Inventor, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated success in leading and executing complex engineering projects
- Willingness to travel approximately 5% for operational needs
