Job Overview

Position Summary:
The Sanitation team plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and operational readiness of the production area by implementing CIP, COP, and SIP protocols. Team members will utilize various cleaning agents and specialized equipment to effectively and safely perform their nightly responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ designated cleaning equipment and appropriate chemicals to execute CIP, COP, and SIP processes on all production machinery.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning tasks, including washing walls, ceilings, floors, drains, pipes, and other equipment utilized during production.
  • Foam and wash the exterior of all machines, equipment, and tanks.
  • Ensure designated areas are stocked and maintained with necessary supplies.
  • Remove waste, recycling, debris, and any obstructions to uphold the cleanliness and safety of the facility.
  • Adhere strictly to GMPs, safety, and health regulations, while wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with special projects and complete additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Experience with aseptic systems and sanitation practices.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in CIP and COP processes is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to kneel, bend, and maneuver in confined spaces as necessary for equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in environments with fluctuating temperatures.
