About the Role

H.I.G. Capital is seeking exceptional individuals to join its Private Equity team as Vice Presidents. With a proven track record spanning over 30 years, H.I.G. Capital is a leading global private investment firm with over $64 billion of capital under management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the merits and risks of potential investments, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Lead and coordinate the due diligence process, ensuring thorough and efficient evaluation of investment opportunities.
  • Oversee business analysis, providing strategic guidance and oversight to Associates.
  • Manage and provide leadership to Associates, fostering a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
  • Bring financing partners into transactions, leveraging strong relationships and negotiation skills.
  • Contribute to contract negotiations and documentation, ensuring seamless execution of transactions.
  • Develop growth and value-creating strategies as a Board Member, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Play a significant role in the sale process, ensuring successful exit strategies.
Requirements
  • Strong preference for candidates with prior private equity experience.
  • Will consider strong candidates with a background in Investment Banking (preferably M&A or leveraged finance) or management consulting who have demonstrated an ability and enthusiasm to transition to private equity.
  • Superior academic achievement at a top-tier undergraduate and MBA program is required.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative business analysis skills and ability to provide oversight and guidance to Associates for financial modeling and business analysis.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
