Position Overview

We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Loan Originators. This role is ideal for sales professionals committed to enhancing the customer experience and skilled in building and nurturing strategic relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Relationship Development: Drive sales by cultivating and strengthening relationships with property investors, brokers, and real estate agents. Leverage various channels, including company leads and referrals, while actively participating in industry events.
  • Loan Pre-qualification: Assess loan requests, determine appropriate loan structures, and prepare quotes and term sheets for prospective clients.
  • Loan Processing Support: Assist in the borrower approval process by gathering and submitting necessary information to the loan processing department.
  • Pipeline Management: Effectively manage and prioritize a dynamic pipeline of potential clients and loan applications, ensuring timely follow-ups and updates to meet established targets.
  • Client Database Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive client database within the CRM system, ensuring effective use of contact management tools and customer relationship practices.
  • Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with leaders in Processing, Underwriting, Valuations, and other departments to prioritize the loan pipeline and collaborate on overcoming interdepartmental challenges.
  • Networking: Attend industry events and conferences, employing strategic planning, onsite meetings, and post-event outreach to identify and convert leads.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role within the industry.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving $3 million or more in monthly origination volume in sectors such as fix/flip, ground-up construction, single-family rental, and/or short-term bridge financing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities to organize financial information and perform calculations.
  • Capability to structure loans according to customer needs and underwriting guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
