We are excited to be working with a top-tier law firm to bring in a Business Development Manager to lead their financial institutions group. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to move into a newly created role within a firm that is in growth mode and investing substantially into their marketing and business development function.

Given the makeup of the team and the clear pathway towards senior management, we would be keen to engage current business development managers who have exposure to the finance or corporate area within a law firm. We could also consider an experienced specialist or senior specialist seeking to take on their first management role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing and business development plans for the financial institutions group.
  • Conduct research on the financial markets to advise lawyers on specific industry trends and opportunities for the group.
  • Collaborate with attorneys on profile-raising opportunities and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Take on generalist business development tasks for the group, including working on RFPs, events, and directory submissions.
