Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Community Learning Hub Tutor. As a tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic support and guidance to students in a group and one-on-one setting.
  • Assist in implementing program curriculum and activities.
  • Engage with students to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the Site Director and Instruction Coordinator in maintaining a safe and organized program space.
  • Participate in indoor and outdoor activities with students during free time and transitional periods.
  • Assist with coordinating supplies and materials for program events.
  • Act as a liaison with external vendors and partners.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Experience working with children in an academic or recreational setting.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, working Monday through Thursday, 2pm-6pm. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to this schedule and provide excellent support to our students and staff.
