The Vice President of Technology Solutions formulates a robust strategy for executing and delivering on IT business objectives. This position necessitates a profound understanding of how organizational capabilities interconnect across various functions or segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison and collaborate with business and functional stakeholders to identify and deliver strategic enablement solutions.
- Implement new or updated programs and large-scale projects for the function, supporting technical and operational procedures.
- Drive goals and objectives while enhancing performance.
- Oversee the overall technology delivery functions within Provider Systems.
- Ensure effective methodologies, controls, and capabilities are established to facilitate successful delivery aligned with enterprise goals.
- Collaborate with business and internal/external partners to prioritize and execute activities.
- Attract, retain, and develop top delivery talent.
- Engage directly and take ownership of delivering large, complex programs.
- Transform strategic decisions into an outcomes-oriented approach for prioritizing technology initiatives and products.
- Develop a delivery roadmap encompassing both short-term capabilities and long-term solutions in support of the Provider Systems Strategy.
- Provide business and technology leaders with insights on emerging technologies and trends pertinent to the Provider Systems Strategy.
- Recruit, mentor, and cultivate team members, fostering an environment of engagement.
- Advocate for innovative work methods and outcome delivery, emphasizing quality and agility.
- Establish a team culture of inclusion, support, and curiosity that reflects the core values of the organization.
- Lead and support the technology and business teams in adopting and adhering to Agile principles.
Key Candidate Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related IT field.
- 15 years of experience leading IT teams with increasing responsibilities.
- 10 years of progressive experience in information technology, specifically in architecture/engineering, information security, or other specialized technology fields.
- 5 years of experience in agile development methodologies.
- A proven ability to challenge the status quo and present alternative perspectives.
- Strong understanding of business strategy and a track record of demonstrating how technology drives business outcomes.
- Experience in managing change by leading and energizing teams, modeling adaptability, and inspiring strong organizational performance during periods of transformation and complexity.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the poise and executive presence necessary for effective interaction with senior and executive-level audiences.
- Deep understanding of contemporary information technology strategies and practices.
- A passion for contributing to an organization dedicated to continuously enhancing consumer experiences.
