Job Summary

The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, building strong relationships, and driving sales growth for Telephone Electronics' broadband and telecommunication solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Identify Potential Clients: Conduct market research to identify potential clients within the assigned territory.
  • Generate Leads: Utilize various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events, to generate leads and expand the sales pipeline.
  • Manage and Track Leads: Utilize CRM systems and sales tools to effectively manage and track leads, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion.
  • Understand Client Needs: Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses and goals to position Telephone Electronics' solutions effectively.
  • Articulate Value Proposition: Clearly articulate the value proposition of Telephone Electronics' broadband and telecommunication offerings, highlighting benefits and features that meet client needs.
  • Provide Accurate Forecasts: Provide accurate sales forecasts and activity reports to sales management on a regular basis.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and the competitive landscape within the broadband and telecommunication sector.
  • Provide Feedback and Insights: Provide ongoing and productive feedback to management regarding needs/campaigns that might increase sales and improve the customer experience.
  • Closing Skills: Demonstrate concise and qualified closing skills to secure new business opportunities.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Travel Requirements: Travel up to 60% of the time, with regional travel typically by car.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Education/Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with a minimum of four (4) years relevant sales experience in the broadband and telecommunication industry.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, strong organization, presentation, negotiations, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multi-task.
