The position of Senior Group Sales Manager at Marriott International offers a unique opportunity to excel in the hospitality industry. This leadership role is responsible for spearheading the property's group sales efforts, focusing on properties with a high volume of events exceeding 300 peak rooms.

As a seasoned professional, you will be tasked with managing a team of sales associates, driving revenue growth, and fostering long-term relationships with clients. Your expertise in sales strategies, customer service, and leadership development will be essential in achieving hotel revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Soliciting, booking, and developing local group business
  • Developing and managing group sales revenue and operation budgets
  • Working closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to establish sales strategy
  • Identifying, training, and mentoring group sales associates

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in sales and marketing or related professional area
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • Demonstrated skills in supervising a team and group sales experience

Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $134,000 to $183,820 annually, with potential for quarterly bonuses.
