Job Summary

The Enterprise Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and signing large manufacturing customers with revenue potential of $3M+ incremental per year. This role requires proactive prospecting, developing compelling value-based proposals, and building broad prospect relationship networks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify and pursue large manufacturing customers with revenue potential of $3M+ incremental per year.
  2. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  4. Develop and deliver compelling value-based proposals and presentations to communicate value to customers.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of sales initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated track record of success in pursuing new large national account customers.
  • Demonstrated large ($3M+) sales experience success preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Salesforce.com experience preferred.
  • Strong background in selling profitable solutions or services preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of sales and prospecting techniques in large national accounts.
  • Demonstrated track record of excellent sales, negotiation, relationship building, and closing skills and techniques.
  • Knowledge of e-business.
  • Supply Chain Expertise/Knowledge including Operations, Procurement, Lean/Process Improvement preferred.
What We Offer

MSC Industrial Supply offers a competitive salary range of $157,570 - $247,610 and up, depending on experience. The company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
