Job Overview

The selected Program Coordinator will oversee project documentation, monitor construction advancements, manage change request approvals, maintain financial records related to projects, and update contracts as necessary. This role also involves preparing contractual documentation, including statements of work and change requests, while coordinating with and supervising external contractors on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees multiple projects from initiation to completion utilizing industry best practices in project management, particularly Agile methodologies.
  • Develops both long-term and short-term strategies, establishing targets for milestones and ensuring adherence to deadlines.
  • Assigns project tasks to the most suitable team members, ensuring accountability and efficiency.
  • Effectively manages and provides oversight on significant government contracts delivering Information Technology (IT) support.
  • Prepares fiscal reports on projects, including earned value analysis and cost-to-complete assessments.
  • Leads, organizes, and directs activities through a team engaged in a wide range of IT engineering disciplines, including research, technology, design, development, and operations.
  • Implements both short- and long-term planning and innovative strategies for the contract and corporate activities.
  • Manages human resource programs and oversees financial matters.
  • Establishes and enforces operating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Ensures all company activities align with contract stipulations and corporate policies.
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to IT or computer sciences.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with individuals at various organizational levels and with federal clients.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to cultivate and sustain relationships with internal and external project stakeholders, colleagues, and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with technology system development lifecycles and methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile Project Management.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills, with experience managing diverse teams.
  • Ability to navigate a multi-customer, multi-user consolidated contract environment.
  • Proficient analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated management capabilities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Expertise in IT support services principles and practices.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Proficient in information systems planning and applications.
  • Effective interpersonal and diplomatic skills.
  • Ability to manage projects and personnel across multiple locations.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodology tools, such as DevOps (an Azure product).
Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT contract management.
  • A minimum of 3 years of government experience in a similar role.
  • 3 years of experience in managing personnel.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager for government IT support services.
  • Experience managing teams of up to 20 employees in a government contract setting.
