Job Overview

This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities including the procurement of service providers through competitive bidding, contract management, and ensuring adherence to production targets and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison with service providers and funding agencies.
  • Collaborate with fellow Program Coordinators to analyze program requirements and evaluate the needs of service providers and beneficiaries, leveraging Housing New Mexico programs for optimal outcomes.
  • Direct the planning, execution, and assessment of energy efficiency and sustainable building initiatives within Housing New Mexico, particularly focusing on NM Energy$mart projects.
  • Work closely with relevant Housing New Mexico personnel to identify institutional or programmatic factors that may influence NM Energy$mart and sustainable building initiatives.
  • Assist in drafting, preparing, and securing approval for the DOE State Plan on an annual basis.
  • Contribute to the development of the Health and Safety Plan, staying updated on relevant changes or requirements.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with key funding sources to stay informed about programmatic updates and relay this information to Service Providers.
  • Oversee the energy efficiency processes for both single-family and multifamily projects, verify audit calculations, and submit project approvals to funding entities.
  • Prepare Requests for Proposals (RFP) or manage renewal processes, ensuring compliance with national regulatory updates.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is required; a college degree is preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in construction, weatherization, energy efficiency, or management of federally funded programs is preferred.

Employment Conditions

  • A valid NM Driver's license is required.
