Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at BlueScope. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide strategic support to our business leaders and employees, ensuring the effective management of HR processes and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • HR Process Expertise: Provide guidance and support on HR processes, including recruitment, talent management, employee engagement, and performance management.
  • Employee Support: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
  • HR Administration: Manage HR systems, including HCM, time and attendance, and leave of absence programs.
  • Training and Development: Assess and coordinate employee engagement programs, training, and development initiatives.
  • Recruitment: Partner with business leaders to develop and implement recruitment strategies that attract top talent.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations concerns, including disciplinary actions, investigations, and other HR-related matters.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in human resources, with a focus on business partnership and HR process expertise.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with business leaders and employees.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of employment laws, HRIS systems, and recruitment strategies.
