Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Onboarding: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for our manufacturing operations. Conduct new hire orientations, file setup, and auditing to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Employee Relations and Engagement: Foster a positive work environment by providing guidance and support to employees and management on employee relations, attendance, and performance management.
- Benefits Administration: Administer our benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans, to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management processes to ensure employees are meeting performance expectations and providing coaching and development opportunities as needed.
- HRIS and Payroll: Manage our HRIS and payroll systems, including ADP, to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee data and payments.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, including OSHA and EEOC guidelines, and identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR generalist role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills and Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with HRIS and payroll systems, including ADP. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Physical and Work Environment: Ability to sit for long periods, fine motor skills, and specific vision abilities. Regular twisting, bending, squatting, pushing, pivoting, and moving or lifting 10-15 pounds. Occasional exposure to vibration, noise, and hazardous chemicals.
