Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at BlueScope. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide strategic support to our business leaders and employees, ensuring the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Employee Support: Provide HR support to employees, including recruitment, talent management, employee engagement, and HR administration.
  • HR Process Expertise: Develop and implement HR processes and procedures to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations concerns, including disciplinary actions, investigations, and other HR-related issues.
  • Recruitment and Talent Management: Partner with business leaders to develop recruitment strategies and manage the hiring process, ensuring the right talent is attracted and retained.
  • Employee Engagement and Development: Assess and coordinate employee engagement programs, training and development initiatives, and performance management cycles to drive employee engagement and productivity.
  • HR Systems and Reporting: Manage HR systems, including HCM, time and attendance, and leave of absence programs, and provide HR reports and analytics to support business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of human resources experience, with a focus on HR generalist roles.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with business leaders and employees. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office products.
