As a Veterinary Technician in Dermatology, your responsibilities will include:
+ Effectively communicate with various individuals in high-pressure situations+ Triage and gather patient history+ Perform venipuncture and place intravenous catheters+ Utilize terminology specific to Dermatology+ Conduct Otic Cytology swabs and prepare for ear mite examinations+ Prepare for Skin Biopsies+ Identify alopecia, nodules, and tumors+ Monitor Anesthesia+ Administer CPR+ Conduct radiographic procedures+ Execute diagnostic tests and treatments+ Prepare prescriptions and relay discharge instructions to clients+ Demonstrate proficiency in aseptic techniques+ Understand laboratory procedures and practicesWhy choose BluePearl?**+ Our passion lies in the well-being of pets.
