About You:
  • You possess a solid foundational knowledge and can execute the essential duties of a veterinary technician, including (but not limited to):
  • Venipuncture
  • IV Catheter Placement
  • Drug Calculations
  • Medication Administration (IV or other methods)
  • Vital Signs Monitoring
  • Observing, documenting, and identifying changes in patient demeanor, unusual behavior, and condition variations
  • Delivering high-quality medical and nursing care
  • You excel both independently and collaboratively, exercising sound judgment to ensure superior care for all patients
  • You adapt to the unique needs of each patient, are proactive in seeking clarification, are enthusiastic about enhancing your skill set, and maintain a positive outlook
  • Familiarity with EzyVet and SmartFlow is advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits (for full-time employees):
  • RVT: ($30/hr + commensurate with relevant experience)

Qualifications:
  • The RVT position necessitates a current and active Veterinary Technician License in Maryland, or an active license in another state that qualifies you for licensing
  • A minimum of two years of experience as an RVT, or one year with two years as a Veterinary Assistant.
  • Extensive experience with anesthesia, venipuncture, and catheter placement
  • Exceptional communication, patient care, and customer service skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to new situations
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and possess original, unexpired documents to verify eligibility.
  • Must successfully pass a 7-year background check and drug screening (in compliance with local, state, and Federal regulations).
  • A valid high school diploma or GED is required.

Ethos Veterinary Health operates multiple locations across various states. Our clinics are managed by board-certified neurologists who provide same-day, life-saving neurosurgery and long-term medical management. Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art technology to deliver advanced diagnostic testing, including cerebrospinal fluid collection/analysis, computed tomography, electroencephalography, MRI, and more. Our neurologists perform both spinal and brain surgeries, including intervertebral disc surgery, brain tumor removal, foramen magnum decompression, ventricular shunt replacement, and more. Veterinary technicians are vital to our operations, whether they are managing patient care, assisting clients, operating diagnostic imaging equipment, or supporting surgeons during procedures.
