Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficiently perform essential veterinary technician duties, including but not limited to:
  • Venipuncture
  • IV Catheter Placement
  • Medication Calculations
  • Administering Medications (IV and other methods)
  • Monitoring Vital Signs
  • Observing, documenting, and identifying changes in patient behavior and condition
  • Delivering high-quality medical and nursing care
  • Collaborating effectively within a team while exercising sound judgment to ensure optimal patient care
  • Adapting to the unique needs of each patient, asking questions when necessary, and maintaining a positive outlook
  • Familiarity with EzyVet and SmartFlow is advantageous.

Qualifications:
  • A current and active Veterinary Technician License in Maryland, or eligibility for licensing based on an active license from another state
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an RVT, or one year as a Veterinary Assistant with two years of experience
  • Extensive experience in anesthesia, venipuncture, and catheter placement
  • Strong communication, patient care, and customer service skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to new situations
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and provide original, unexpired documentation for verification.
  • Must successfully pass a 7-year background check and drug screening (in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations).
  • A valid high school diploma or GED is required.

About Ethos Veterinary Health:
Ethos Veterinary Health operates multiple locations staffed by board-certified neurologists, providing life-saving neurosurgery and comprehensive medical management. Our facilities are equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, including cerebrospinal fluid collection/analysis, computed tomography, electroencephalography, MRI, and more. Our neurologists perform a variety of surgical procedures, such as intervertebral disc surgery, brain tumor removal, and ventricular shunt replacement. Veterinary technicians are vital to our operations, engaging in patient care, client interactions, diagnostic imaging, and surgical assistance.
