Key Responsibilities- Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia and post-operative care
- Conduct venipuncture, place IV catheters, and administer medications as needed
- Monitor patient vitals and observe for changes in condition
- Provide high-quality medical and nursing care to patients
- Work collaboratively with our veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Current and active Veterinary Technician License in Maryland or eligibility for licensure
- At least two years of experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician or one year as a Veterinary Assistant with relevant experience
- Extensive experience with anesthesia, venipuncture, and catheters
- Excellent communication, patient care, and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new situations
- Competitive hourly rate ($30/hour + commensurate with experience)
