We are seeking a skilled and versatile Senior Accountant to become a vital member of our expanding team at PeopleShare. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and lead the month-end closing processes.
  • Generate and record monthly general ledger journal entries, ensuring precision and adherence to standards.
  • Assist in the formulation of labor and overhead standard costs and perform monthly assessments comparing standard costs to actual expenses.
  • Work alongside the operations team on inventory verification and obsolescence analysis.
  • Oversee fixed asset management and depreciation entries to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Manage and reconcile all intercompany accounts to guarantee consistency across the organization.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of all cash accounts to uphold financial integrity.
  • Support the sales team in processing sales orders and monitoring customer invoices.
  • Accurately and efficiently collect and record cash payments.
  • Assist external tax professionals in preparing annual corporate tax filings.
  • Support all audit and financial review processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with clients, suppliers, and other business professionals to foster positive relationships.
  • Guide and mentor the accounting team, promoting a cooperative and productive work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, time management, and prioritization skills
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with an ERP system across multiple modules.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication; sound judgment and the ability to interact with various levels of management and teams
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities are essential
  • High standards of attention to detail are required
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding business operations and internal information is necessary
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and a strong work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel at an intermediate level
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Must be able to pass background and credit checks
