**Job Summary**
Kewaunee Scientific Corporation is a leading manufacturer of laboratory, healthcare, and technical furniture products. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler/Production Specialist to join our team.
**Key Responsibilities**
Assemble and wire metal furniture, including power bars, pedestals, and other equipment, to specified dimensions.
Operate machines such as pneumatic drivers, stacking machines, and other assembly equipment.
Utilize hand and power tools to fit and assemble components as required.
Pack completed units and parts according to customer requirements.
**Electrical Assembly and Wiring**
Operate machines such as crimping devices, automatic wire cutters, and other assembly equipment to assemble and wire components to specific standards.
Pre-assemble, wire, and test all required components according to customer order and drawing.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform any necessary repairs.
Inventory control of all electrical parts for each order.
**Requirements**
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Mechanical ability is a plus.
**Work Environment**
The work environment is a manufacturing facility with moving mechanical parts and occasional exposure to vibration.
The noise level is usually quiet.
**Health and Safety Responsibilities**
Adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
Bring unsafe acts and conditions to the attention of the manager.
Correct hazards and unsafe conditions.
Train other associates in safe work practices.
Investigate accidents, near accidents, and potential hazards.
Actively participate in housekeeping activities and in the safety and health program.
