Overview of the SAP Consumption Manager Role:
We are in search of a seasoned SAP Consumption Manager to enhance and streamline our SAP system's effectiveness. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in SAP, particularly in consumption planning, execution, and oversight. This position demands strong leadership abilities to guide a team and coordinate cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring optimal utilization of SAP resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver daily assistance to various teams, including Bonding, Assembly, Production Control, and Planning, to enhance and support consumption processes within SAP.
- Work collaboratively with Stockroom, Bonding, and Assembly personnel to provide training on SAP consumption practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP specialists, offering guidance and support.
- Encourage a collaborative and innovative team culture to meet business objectives.
- Engage with stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and convert them into effective SAP consumption strategies.
- Monitor and report on SAP error metrics, maintaining a comprehensive status of work stoppages and identifying potential resolutions.
- Assist in root cause analysis for Staging, Consumption, or Completion challenges.
- Oversee the troubleshooting process for Consumption errors, providing solutions to Production Control and Operations teams.
- Prepare status updates for management and contribute to special projects or presentations.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP management, specifically focusing on consumption and performance. Additionally, candidates should have at least two years of supervisory or progressive leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP certification or equivalent technical expertise.
- Over 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Experience in a unionized or manufacturing setting.
- Project management experience.
- Familiarity with financial processes and cost management within SAP.
