Role Overview:

We are in search of a seasoned SAP Consumption Manager to spearhead and enhance our SAP system's effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in SAP, particularly in consumption planning, execution, and oversight. This position demands strong leadership skills to manage a dedicated team and coordinate cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring optimal utilization of SAP resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing support to various teams, including Bonding, Assembly, Production Control, and Planning, to enhance consumption activities within SAP.
  • Work closely with Stockroom, Bonding, and Assembly personnel to facilitate training on SAP consumption processes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of SAP specialists, offering guidance and support.
  • Encourage a collaborative and innovative team atmosphere to meet organizational objectives.
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into effective SAP consumption strategies.
  • Monitor SAP error metrics and maintain comprehensive work stoppage statuses; identify potential resolutions.
  • Assist in root cause analysis for issues related to Staging, Consumption, or Completion.
  • Oversee troubleshooting for Consumption errors and provide solutions to Production Control and Operations teams.
  • Prepare status updates for management and work on special projects or presentations as needed.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP management, specifically focused on consumption and performance. Additionally, candidates should have at least two years of supervisory or progressive leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP certification or equivalent technical expertise.
  • Over 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Project management experience.
  • Understanding of financial processes and cost management within SAP.
