Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Field Sales Account Executive to become a vital part of our dynamic Rexel Automation team.

Role Summary:

The Field Sales Account Executive position is designed for proactive individuals with a sales-driven mindset, focusing on developing substantial customer and market opportunities within the local area. Key responsibilities include nurturing customer relationships to enhance sales through various communication channels such as phone, email, virtual meetings, and face-to-face interactions at customer sites or branch locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive engagement.
  • Concentrate on expanding the customer base, diversifying product offerings, and improving digital visibility.
  • Identify products, services, and digital solutions that add value to customers' operations.
  • Develop customized sales strategies tailored to specific customer segments.
  • Provide essential support within the branch for customer-related sales initiatives.
  • Effectively utilize internal digital tools for insights, actions, and tracking activities.
  • Perform additional assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in business-to-business sales is preferred.

  • Strong product and application knowledge.
  • Customer-centric with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in leadership, organization, and negotiation.
  • Ability to influence decisions through interpersonal skills and negotiation tactics.
  • Basic mathematical skills for calculations such as discounts and commissions.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and digital systems.
