Job Overview

The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties is currently looking for a dedicated full-time Vocational Training Coordinator to oversee vocational education, guidance, and management in the formulation and execution of the Individual Written Program for participants engaged in this initiative.

This program is community-focused, aiming to address the needs of individuals facing vocational hurdles. Our mission is to provide training and employment avenues for individuals with disabilities and other vocational challenges within the region. As a Vocational Training Coordinator, you will receive a competitive salary of $15.38/hour. Founded in 1953 by a group of parents advocating for the rights of individuals with disabilities, The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties (CPARC) has been at the forefront of providing essential services. Historically, individuals with disabilities faced significant barriers to education, vocational training, and housing. Today, our organization continues to champion the rights of individuals with disabilities, offering support and resources to families, and ensuring that individuals can live, work, and engage in their communities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Preferred experience includes at least one year in vocational rehabilitation or a related field.
  • Physical stamina is necessary, including the ability to lift and carry a minimum of 45 pounds and stand for extended periods.

WORK SCHEDULE
