Job Description

Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Summary:

Erdman Anthony is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing complex engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely and within-budget project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication, coordination, and collaboration.
  • Engineering Design: Develop and implement engineering designs, plans, and specifications for transportation infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and water resources.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve project delivery and outcomes.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit project reports, progress updates, and other documentation as required.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Experience: 6-10 years of progressive technical experience in transportation engineering, water resources, or a related field.
  • Certifications: EIT certification required, with a desire to obtain PE certification in the future.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, excellent communication and project management skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
