Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Assist Patients: Welcome patients in a professional and courteous manner, assess their needs, and ensure their expectations are met.
  • Update Patient Information: Efficiently update and verify patient demographics, insurance, and contact information, and assist patients in completing necessary forms.
  • Schedule Appointments: Promptly schedule appointments utilizing provider templates and scheduling guidelines.
  • Process Payments: Proactively request payments from patients on current and past medical services, and receive and process payments following appropriate procedures.
  • Support Administrative Functions: Assist with administrative tasks, address patient concerns, and perform paperwork as needed.
  • Collaborate with Care Teams: Work collaboratively with other care teams and employees to provide a seamless experience for patients.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: Six months of customer service experience involving interactions with customers.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
  • Professional Manner: Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer Service Experience: One year of customer service experience, especially in a hospital or medical office.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Problem-solving ability, analytical skills, self-motivated, and able to work well in a clinic environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Communication: Interact with others requiring the ability to communicate information.
  • Computer Use: Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
  • Sitting and Standing: Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
