Job Opportunity: The University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites qualified candidates for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position in the William States Lee College of Engineering.

About the Position:

  • We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as an Assistant or Associate Professor in Construction Engineering.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in construction engineering, as well as developing and maintaining a research program.
  • They will also contribute to the development of the construction engineering program and participate in departmental and university service.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in construction engineering, including construction methods, materials, and management.
  • Develop and maintain a research program in construction engineering, with a focus on innovative construction methods and technologies.
  • Contribute to the development of the construction engineering program, including curriculum development and program assessment.
  • Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and outreach activities.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Construction Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching and research in construction engineering.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
