The selected candidate will serve as a Project/Client Manager, overseeing various projects within the Construction Materials Testing & Special Inspections Department. This role requires expertise in airport paving projects and involves the following responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships and coordinate with NOVA staff to ensure project success.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors.
- Provide engineering oversight and ensure the quality of services delivered.
- Offer technical guidance to Field Professionals and Technicians.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and engineering recommendations based on field services.
- Draft proposals and budget estimates for upcoming projects.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC testing and inspections of various materials including pavements, asphalt, concrete, and soils.
- At least 2 years of experience specifically in airport paving projects.
- A degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
- A Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and construction specifications.
- A valid state driver's license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
